This 9-day journey covers Kolkata, the cultural capital of India, the picturesque hill station of Darjeeling, and Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its population of one-horned rhinoceroses. The itinerary combines heritage, mountain scenery, tea plantations, and wildlife experiences.
Depending on the selected departure and availability, the itinerary may include a ride on the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train). If not included by default, it can usually be added as an optional experience upon request.
Yes. The itinerary includes a guided Jeep Safari with a naturalist in Kaziranga National Park (as specified in the itinerary). This offers an excellent opportunity to spot the Indian one-horned rhinoceros, wild elephants, swamp deer, and a variety of bird species.
The ideal travel season is October to March, when the weather is cool and pleasant, mountain views are at their best, and Kaziranga National Park remains open for wildlife safaris.
You'll stay in carefully selected premium hotels and boutique resorts in Kolkata, Darjeeling, and Kaziranga. All accommodations are chosen for their comfort, hospitality, and convenient locations. Similar-category hotels may be provided depending on availability.
